My Idea

My advert will be a typical day at work, outside it will be raining to make it a depressing feel to the advert. I would include a man in the advert as well because in the brief it says that KFC mainly aimed at blokes who want something filling to eat.
In my advert I want it to be set in a construction site or maybe an office, you will see a man who will keep on looking at his watch as if he is counting down the hours until his lunch break.
There will then be a close up of '12:00' to make the impression to show that it's lunch time, he will then open his packed lunch box with his usual boring 2 sandwiches and he is looking fed up.
But he then has second thoughts, my advert will then cut in to a more happier sunnier day and the man is now walking in to KFC, it will then cut in to close up's of food, like they normally have on KFC adverts, and a voice over.

I was originally going to go with that idea, but I changed it a bit because some of it wont work because of health and safety reasons..

Instead it will be set in a home office, it will start off with a montage of food that they have in the KFC fully loaded meal, so the fillet burger, a piece of chicken, fries and also a regular side and a drink. It will then cut in to a colleague asking if he want's to go for food, the camera will then show him eating food as if there is a flashback and it will then go back to the office with him replying that he wont go for food because he is too full, it will then go back to the montage of food, I will also include the song Bruno mars - runaway baby because to me it sounds like the KFC advert.

The brand I have chosen is KFC

 

 

KFC is a fast food outlet that sells fried chicken, KFC is short for Kentucky fried chicken.

It was founded in 1930 by Colonel Harland Sanders.

It is in fact the 2nd largest restaurant chain with over 18,000 outlets in 120 different countries!

 

The start..

We were first given a brief where we had many different brands we can choose from so we can create an advert for them, these brands were:

• Hellmann's Mayonnaise
• Slim Fast
• KFC
• Levi's
• Kodak
• Air Action vigorsol chewing gum
• And many more!

 

But these brands they wanted certain things we had to include in the advert, Hellmann's said that you would have to include the 'click' of the cap in the advert as it is a squeesy bottle they wanted advertised and also you had to include 'Hellmann's makes it' somewhere in the advert. Slim Fast wanted happy looking people included in the advert and also women because that's their target audience. KFC's target audience was men so you would have to include men in the advert and also 'KFC FULLY LOADED MEAL - LOADED WITH FOOD' in the advert.
